Flying kites late at night in Joshua Tree.
From a couple or so years ago. Bill and I drove out to the desert on a Friday night to take photos until we got tired. While shooting we mostly kept the lights on for fear a car would come by and not see us and then murder us. After a few hours of keeping the lights on the car finally wouldn’t start up and we had to wait off the main road, on Keyes View Road, until 8:30 in the AM for the first person to drive by and jump us. We also ran over a jackrabbit on this trip.
